Privacy Policy

What we collect

Sonda collects only the data needed to run discovery interviews and deliver synthesis reports:

• Designers (account holders): email address, name, hashed password.
• Interviewees (via magic link, no account): interview transcript, audio (if uploaded), consent timestamp.
• Project data: project details, persona definitions, interview guides, synthesis outputs.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to conduct interviews and generate research insights. We do not sell data, serve ads, or share data with third parties beyond the infrastructure providers listed below.

Infrastructure providers

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI interview facilitation and synthesis
• OpenAI (Whisper) — audio transcription
• ElevenLabs — voice synthesis for AI interviewer
• Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email

Data retention

Project data is retained until deleted by the designer. Designers can delete projects (cascading to all interviews, transcripts, and synthesis) at any time from the dashboard.
